80-to-80 Corridor Plan

The City of Fairfield is selecting a consulting firm to prepare a market analysis and planning implementation study to assist in the revitalization and redevelopment of what is commonly referred to as the 80-to-80 Corridor.  

The 80-to-80 Corridor is the length of Texas Street that runs from West Texas Street at Oliver Road through North Texas Street at Lyon Road.  The 80-to-80 Corridor includes three commercial districts:  West Texas Street, Downtown and North Texas Street.

The City will use the Plan as both a guide for City staff in directing future development within the corridor as well as a marketing tool to show property owners and developers what development opportunities are possible within the corridor.  It is anticipated that a Scope of Work can be presented to City Council in February 2007 for their approval.
